# The bill-splitting app I’ve always wanted to use.

Hi, my name is Lucas Assis. Deep down, every bill-splitting app does the same thing: it divides, calculates, and shows who owes whom. I’ve used several. **And I always had the feeling that it could be much better.**

My goal in creating TakeControl was to build the app I always wanted to use: **a clean screen, easy to understand, and with the features I felt were missing in other apps you already know.** If you, like me, have ever been frustrated splitting a bill in a confusing app, this one was made for you.
